Darocz - Sariské Dravce

 

Historical records from Darocz  about all deliveries, deaths and marriages either from Darocz (Šarišské Dravce)  or from smaller villages around - Polom (Poloma),  Schonwitz (Krásna Lúka).  

The first record about Zwanziger family are from  the beggining of 19th century. There are no one Zwanciger in records from previous period untill the year 1826.  Probably 4 Czvancziger came to Darocs short time before 1827.  Elizabetha, Nicolaus  and Joannnes was about 20 years ald in this time and Catharina was about 10 year old.,  They lived in House No. 19.  Only in one record is written place of origin  - Lublo (that means Stara Lubovna (Stará Ľubovňa) - an old  medieval town about 30 km to north.  It was in record of marriage of Joannes Czvancziger + Susane Rakass.

  

All records started in 1826   - 3 marriages in Darocz was in the beginning:

                              Elizabetha  Czvancziger  -  20 years old

 

- 28. October 1826 -  Nicolaus Czvancziger - 20 years old

                              Maria Csmilly - 20 years old

 

- 31. January 1827 -  Joannes Czvancziger - 19 years old

                             Sussane Rakass - 18 years old. 

 

In the village nearby in Schonvicz was records started by wedding of Catharina Czvancziger with Paulus Bericer.

    The family stayed in Darocz,  probably in house No.41.   Since 1832 the surname of Nicolaus is written:  Zvanziger !

Family Joannes Czvancziger + Sussane Rakass in Schonwitz

The marriage was in Darocz (House - Darocz 47) and their first child was born in Darocz too. The rest of  children was born in their new home in Schonwicz (Krásna Lúka). There transfered even Joannes younger sister Catharina together with them.

   One and only record is there -   the marriage on 4. February 1836. 

 

 

Unclassified : 

On 19. November 1867 was wedding of Andreas Zvanziger  (23 years old)  from Jestreb ( Šarišské Jastrabie) to Elisabetha Kuchan (23 years old)  -  It one and only record of this pair in Darocz.  They lived in Jestreb and Andreas died according to records 48 years old  on March 9th, 1889. One Elisabeth Czavancziger of Andreas family (Andreas filii) died 42 years old in Jestreb  on 13th april 1878.    I suppose it was Elisabetha Kuchan.   There are some differencies in their ages, and I am looking for the reality. The list of their descendant will be soon.
